My favorite music

I’m going to talk about my favorite music!

I really enjoy listen to music, it is like my favorite pastime, because it can make feel any emotion, if I want to feel happy, I just listen a song that is very animated, or if I want to connect with deeper feelings, I just hear a more melancholic or deeper music.

My favorite gender is rock (but not classic rock), and metal (but not black metal, or metal more “heavy”). My favorite band is Porcupine Tree that is progressive rock. I like it because of the subjects that they talk about, for example, there is a song that is called “remember me lover”, and for the title, you can imagine that is a love song, but is just the opposite, it is a song about how an ex-lover can “ruin” your life. Or also, they talk about the problems of the adolescents that are now deranged about TV, or the Xbox or PlayStation and how nobody takes the time to listen to them, and just make them take some pills. And also, the instrumental part is so powerful and well-constructed, that even if you don’t understand very well what they are saying, the music gets to you anyway. So if you have the time, you would listen to at least one song from them.

A country I would like to visit

Hello classmates!

Today I’m going to talk about a country that I would like to visit!

I always wanted to visit Spain, that’s because my great-grandfather was born there, and when I was little my father always told me very funny stories about him. For example, he hated all the priests, and once, he chased one with scissors in his hand, yelling at him that he was a scoundrel and if he wanted money for the church, he had to work.

Another reason is that I would like to visit Europe in general, and to start from Spain is a good way to do it, because they speak Spanish, like me, and I can have the nationality if I live there like 1 year. So it is a good option for going across Europe without problems.

And last but not least, is that I want to see the amazing architecture that they have. I’ll like to see the palaces, the churches, and the mosques, and also, take a lot of pictures of the journey!
